Hello Domestic Divas! My name is Leah and I’ll be writing a fitness column focusing on ideas for busy moms to try to get or stay in shape.
Being a new mom myself, this is a subject I think about a lot. It’s really hard to make time to exercise, but it is important to try. Staying fit has so many health benefits, and we all want to set a good example of health for our kids, right?
I am a certified group fitness instructor in addition to being a mom, and I hope to share some of my fitness expertise with all of you.
I’m looking forward to helping you all find a way to include fitness in your busy lives.
Here is my first tip: walk around the block a few times a week. It only takes a few minutes, and adding even small amounts of exercise can improve your health and burn calories. This is something you can do with your kids to help them stay active too.
