In celebration of all things baby this week, Blissfully Domestic is having a giveaway for this beautiful kusakizome baby kimono in shades of orange from Tomo&Edie. This is a gorgeous, and unique, alternative to the blue and pink that dominates the infant clothing lines on the market.
Each kimono is hand dyed with love, using certified 100% organic cotton
and all-natural dyes — a work of art for the special baby in your life. This kimono is for babies 0-6 months and retails for $40. Madder root has been used all over the world for centuries to achieve
deep reds and oranges. The rich madder colors symbolize the rising sun
and new beginnings.
Tomo&Edie was founded by two friends, and mothers, who share a
passion for other cultures, educating children, doing their share to
preserve the environment, and promoting a
peaceful existence. The business name was inspired by their young
children.
Staying true to the principles upon which their business was founded, 10% of all
Tomo & Edie profits are donated to Unicef.

This is fantastic! We’re expecting our first baby in July and are waiting to be surprised if it’s a boy or girl, I love the orange (I’m already getting tired of yellow and green!) :o)

I just found Blissfully Domestic today and love it!! Our son just headed to the hospital to see his friends first born child, a son born early this a.m. Baby Curtis would look so cute in the orange kimono
